Herald: Burglary and indecent exposure arrest in Edmonds; Man looking for Jennifer Aniston

Posted by Nick Provenza

He went looking for a Hollywood actress, breaking into homes in Edmonds early Saturday and taking off his clothes, The Herald in Everett reports today.

Police believe the Bremerton man, 35, was drunk when he slipped into a 15-year-old girl's bedroom, took off his pants and said he was looking for celebrity Jennifer Aniston, a star of the popular NBC series "Friends."

Officers caught up with the man about 6:30 a.m. at a home near the intersection of 86th Avenue W. and 224th Street SW, according to a police affidavit filed Monday in Everett District Court.

After waking the girl up, the man allegedly sat down on her bed and started taking off his clothes, the report said. The girl kicked him away and then dialed 911. He went outside and waited for police on the home's front steps.

The girl wasn't physically injured.

Snohomish County deputies learned there had been two previous break-ins that morning in the same area, the report said.

A man with a similar description had been seen naked in a nearby house about 5:15 a.m. The people who lived there told the deputies they were "offended and affronted" by the naked man, the report said. They identified the man deputies arrested as the same person who bared all in their home.

The report doesn't say why the man believed he'd find Aniston in Edmonds.

The man was booked into the Snohomish County Jail for investigation of residential burglary and indecent exposure.
